Q.  Is IWantToCoach.com a recruiting firm or a job board?

A.  IWantToCoach.com is a job board, used by employers that are focused on filling coaching jobs in just about every sport, and at all levels. Our vision is to provide a centralized employment service for the coaching profession in athletics.

Q.  How is your service different from the large, national job boards for the general public?

A.  We obviously have a targeted focus at IWantToCoach.com, which combines the technical benefits that you normally get from the larger, general job boards with the specific focus only on open coaching positions. This helps available coaches and employers connect more effectively and efficiently.

Q.  When and why do I need to register at the website?

A.  For employers, an account is required to post jobs and search resumes. For job seekers, an account is required to access the data bank and to post a resume. Creating an account is a free and easy process.

Q.  What browsers are supported by this application?

A.  Browsers that are supported are: - Mozzilla 1.1 + - Internet Explorer 5.0, 5.5, 6.0+ for the PC – Netscape 6.2, 7.0+ for the PC – Mac Safari.

For Coaches…

Q.  How much does it cost to search jobs and post my resume?

A.  Anyone looking for a coaching position can search our comprehensive data bank or post their resume for free. Our technology makes posting your resume a simple and fast process. You can complete your profile in as little as two minutes.

Q.  How do I post my resume with your site?

A.  Resumes can either be created using our online resume tool or by copying and pasting from a Word document. You may need to reformat your document after pasting it into our form. We recommend that you update your resume at least every 9 months.

Q.  Who has access to my resume?

A.  Only employers that are registered to our website have access to your resume. Our resume data bank is maintained as a service to IwantToCoach.com job seekers and employers, and will not be sold to a third party.

Q.  What do you do to protect my privacy?

A.  IWantToCoach.com takes great pride in our service to employers and to the coaching community. Our focus is to bring these specific employers a vast group of targeted, talented and active job seekers in the coaching profession. We do not sell, distribute or share any information within our secure database. Furthermore, we take several measures through our technology to ensure the privacy of your personal information.

Q.  How long will my resume be posted?

A.  Your resume will remain posted for one year, unless you delete it prior to the expiration date. If you update your resume, it will refresh the one-year expiration date.

Q.  Can I edit my resume once it is posted on the site?

A.  Yes. Changes can be made to your resume at any time by logging in to your account and making the necessary changes. We recommend that you update your resume at least every 9 months. Resumes older than 9 months are automatically deleted from the site.

Q.  Why should I post our coaching positions on IWantToCoach.com?

A.  IWantToCoach.com gives you the best opportunity to fill your coaching jobs at the lowest possible cost. Our sole mission is to help employers find the most qualified candidates in the shortest time possible.

Q.  What information should I include in my job posting?

A.  Your job posting should include an exact job description, accurate job title and salary information. You have unlimited posting space to describe the specific skill set and background you are seeking in a candidate. IWantToCoach.com attracts the passive job seeker. Many candidates qualify themselves into or out of a position based on the salary. Leaving out this pertinent information could cost you your ideal candidate. Salary is not required on a posting, but highly recommended. A salary range rather than a specific number is sufficient.

Q.  What can I do to ensure the best possible response to my ad?

A.  We recommend the following:

• A complete job posting that fully describes your opportunity is critical.
• A Profile Page that provides quality information about your organization.
• Provide accurate response information.

Q.  What types of jobs are posted on IWantToCoach.com?

IWantToCoach.com attracts coaches who are seeking job openings at every conceivable level, from volunteer positions to head coaching opportunities. So whether you are looking for recreation, public schools, junior colleges, NAIA, Division III, Division II, Division I-AA, Division I, semi pro in all sports, as well as professional and international coaching positions… IWantToCoach.com is your source for the most qualified candidates.

Q.  How long will my job(s) remain posted on IWantToCoach.com?

A.  All jobs remain active for 30 days.  If the position remains unfilled after this period, you can renew the position by completing the posting process again.  

Q.  Can I receive resumes directly from candidates?

A.  Yes. Candidates who feel they meet the qualification of your job posting may show interest by sending you a message to an email address or fax number that you provide within your post. 

Q.  Can I edit my postings after making it active?

A.  Yes. We recognize that at times you may need to change active job postings in order to attract more qualified candidates. You can edit any of your active job postings by logging in to your secure IWantToCoach.com account.
